Syntax highlighting for xC in Visual Studio Code

Hi,
As XMOS transitions to the XTC toolchain, which I have not yet been able to get working, I am experimenting with some old projects and Visual Studio code.
Linking the *.xc file extension to the C syntax highlighting was easy. But there is still the XMOS specific part that is now highlighted as an error in the syntax highlighting.
Does anyone happen to have a language file for VSC for xC?
I tried google and github but could not find anything (or was too stupid to enter the correct words ;) )
