Can I use a same upgrade image for factory images generated by xTimeComposer ver 13.2.2 and by ver 14.2.4?
I know about the changes in format of upgrade image from ver. 13.2.2, but I dont know about change between versions
13.2.2 and 14.2.4.
When I generating an upgrade image I used an xflash parameter --factory-version 13.2, but from now
we have hardwares with an old(ver13.2.2) and new(14.2.4) factory images. We dont have access to old hardwares
to reprogram these over jtag, so we can change only upgrade image.
Factory image compatibility Topic is solved

Hi Tilde,
There have been no changes to the image header format since 13.2, so in theory yes, you should be able to create an upgrade image in tools 14.2.4 and it will be compatible with both the 13.2.2 and 14.2.4 factory images. However, I strongly recommend you test the upgrade process on both to verify the upgrade image is located by the boot loader and booted before releasing.
Best Wishes
Colin.

Thanks for reply,
I tested it, and it works.
Upgrade images generated by new compiler with parameter --factory-version 13.2 or with param --factory-version 14.2 are the same.
