xCORE documentation specifies that booting of the node happens only using Link B. However, XK-1A violates this rule and still able to boot using links. What is the reason for this?

The XK-1A has an image burned in the OTP to change the standard behavior. This allows it to boot from non-standard flash pins, and can change which link is used in boot-from-link mode. The OTP program also automatically determines whether to boot from link/JTAG.
