Hey phalt,
I'm currently reading up on the XC-1A trying to get a handle on XC & to what extent I will be able to use the board for the stuff I have in mind. I have plans on building myself a hexapod robot, with a little AI behind it & some image processing to top the build off which should make it a little more interesting than making it radio controlled.
I'm impressed at some of the stuff people are doing with these boards, the real-time IR tracking had me immediately interested & thinking up possible uses for it.
I'll be doing a lot of lurking on the forums so apologies in advance for all inane banter!
