Hi there,
There is a documented compatibility issue between -L and -G devices. My questions are:
1) is this issue still valid, or was it addressed in a later silicon mask ?
2) what about -SU1 device ? On which side is it, -L or -G ?
Thanks
Best regards
Alain

From what I can make out from the available documentation:
It is not a bug in either the G or L devices that makes their links
incompatible: the link protocol was changed, on purpose, to make
link init work more reliable; and the minimum link buffer size
required was decreased (also not compatible, but that change is
"for free" since the links are not compatible because of the init
change already!)
The SU links are identical to the L links.
