This is not possible. The decision whether to come up as class 1 or class 2 is made before any communication with the host and there is no mechanism for the device to interrogate the host to establish what drivers are installed.
The only workaround is to have a physical switch on the device to select between class 1 and class 2 operations.
Can a device that starts with UAC2 switch to UAC1 if no clas Topic is solved
