Hi all,
I would be interested in using the optical/toslink input for USB MC platform. Looking in the latest source code I could only see that, for now, just the TX part is enabled. I wonder if there are any examples out there that use the RX for the input part (just TOSLINK/optical). I found some documentation for the optical RX part, but I don't really know how to add it to the existing firmware. I am only interested in a 48KHz input for now. Are there any plans to include this in the near future in the firmware for the reference USB MC?

The USB Audio reference design for the multi channel board used to contain digital in (version 5.3 of the ref design). However since version 6, it has not supported this feature. It is being reinstated and is already working and, I am reliably informed by the product manager, will be ready for general release at the end of Jan 2015.
