Hey everyone,
I am new here and am working on a little side project.
Background: 7 year robotics engineer with MSc Signal Processing, but not much experience in hardware, I've developed one simple 8-mic array with a single ADAU7118 TDM-8 aggregator chip.
I would like to expand this pcb and go for a 64 microphone phased array and pump all the audio data through Ethernet. For this I have the following spec:
Source: PPM by Infineon IM73D122V01 (48kHz, 24bit)
TDM-8 Aggregation: ADAU7118
Xcore input: 8x TDM-8 (So 8 ADAU7118 connect to a single XCore)
Xcore output: single Ethernet (UDP, TCP, Ravenna, AES67... I actually don't know yet) that sends the data through
My fundamental question is, how do i find the properly fitting chip by XCore, that is capable to:
1. handle the input and output
2. easy debug, Ideally breakpoints
I am having trouble navigating the offers. I feel like I easily over-spec the chip?
I am super grateful for your help, thank you in advance and have a great day
