Stating Xccomposer Studio 13.0.1 from a fresh download, the 'pop up' error is 'Failed to Start Java virtual machine'
Java 1.7.51-b13, and have both 32 & 64 bit versions installed.
Windows 7, Home Premium, SP 1, 64-bit, Dell Inspiron 7720 i7-3610QM
Other Eclipse IDE's run fine, such as Freescale Code Warrior.
xSoft Explorer also runs fine.
Can anyone help?
When I start Xcomposer Studio 13.0.1 on Windows 7, I get 'Fa Topic is solved

Found two options to make this work
1) Install JRE-6, add path to it in bin\xtimecomposericon.bat
OR
2) In xtimecomposer_bin\xtimecomposer.ini remove line
-vmargs
All other variables unchanged. Just
-XX:MaxPermSize
didn't work for me.
