Stating Xccomposer Studio 13.0.1 from a fresh download, the 'pop up' error is 'Failed to Start Java virtual machine'

Java 1.7.51-b13, and have both 32 & 64 bit versions installed.

Windows 7, Home Premium, SP 1, 64-bit, Dell Inspiron 7720 i7-3610QM

Other Eclipse IDE's run fine, such as Freescale Code Warrior.

xSoft Explorer also runs fine.

Can anyone help?

The answer for the following question in the Q&A section should solve your issue:

Found two options to make this work

1) Install JRE-6, add path to it in bin\xtimecomposericon.bat

OR

2) In xtimecomposer_bin\xtimecomposer.ini remove line

-vmargs

All other variables unchanged. Just

-XX:MaxPermSize

didn't work for me.
