Is it possible to use unused link pins in 2 wire mode?

Post by Redeye »

I'm sure this is written somewhere but I can't seem to find it.If I use a link in 2 wire mode, can I still use the unused pins for that link as I/O? So on an L8-64 can I use port 4A while using XLA in 2-wire mode and port 4C while using XLB in 2-wire mode?I'm sure this is written somewhere but I can't seem to find it.If I use a link in 2 wire mode, can I still use the unused pins for that link as I/O? When using a link in 2-wire mode, the pins that are used in 5-bit mode but not used in 2-bit mode are available to the corresponding I/O ports.
