The goal of this project is to port the OPL2 / OPL3 / FM4 and FM6 synthesizers algorithms on the XCore, by using their intrinsic DSP capabilties. The OPL3 is currently being ported (with MIDI control, not original parallel bus and registers emulation). DX7 and TX81Z emulation are also on the list.
By using the parallel processing capablities, polyphony can be extended endlessly.

Dear XCore friends, I have to say that I am really too busy for now to continue this project, which takes a lot of time (coding the FM algorithms in XS1 assembly is quite hard to do... and that's the only way to get enough performances)
For now, the project is stopped (XSOCKETS is taking all my time)
