Done - I've pushed all the files.
Just needs putting into the module format, tidying up and the I/O interface rewriting with clock blocks and buffered ports...

I've just updated it to include a speed test.
Running on an XK-1 with the SD-Card board it achieves 25Kbytes/sec.

Cool thanks.
I still have to convert my hl1606 project into a proper module - so I am curious about the process.
I tagged the old version with 'old_version' - perhaps someone needs it as starting point or whatever.
BTW: How about SD card compability - the old code was only compatible with <2GB cards (at least it jsut worked with older cards for me) - has that improved?
BTW: can you find some useful sd card boot loader in the depth of the XMOS towers? would be a marvelous addition to ship software updates to people w/o XDE.
If you got it just add it and mark it as dirty and we will rewire it later.
