MODE/Reset Pins Input voltage?

Post by misterten »

May be the input voltage of MODE2 and MODE3 pins be 5V? Or will this damage the XMOS?

XS1-G has 5V tolerant inputs.
XS1-L does not have 5V tolerant inputs.

The mode and reset pins have internal pull-ups on XS1-L, so open-drain circuits work as well (with or without additional external pull-up resistors).

Okay, I've not noticed that in time so I've driven XS1-L with 5V. The ports are not damaged but the level will not be recognzied as a high level. The microcontroller I am using for this is now running at 3.3V and the reset is recognized fine now.

Thanks!
