As most of you know, I strive to make this community website more active, more fun and more inviting for new and expert electronics engineers, hackers, and DIYers..
It's nearly the end of the year.
I've been here 8 months already and in that time I've done what I can to add to what Jason had already built for you.
I want to carry on doing my best to build this community.
So, what would you like to see in the coming year from XCore and from me?
What would you like to see from XCore next year?

A code snippets section complete with comments would be awesome!

I agree, something like mbed's cookbook:
http://mbed.org/cookbook/Homepage
While there is a wiki, I think a dedicated page with an elegant design (like mbed's) would do some good. People can add there own "recipes", but they all follow the same general format. Especially since XMOS is fairly complex and unique (IMO), it would be helpful.
Nice job so far!

We already have the wiki which can be used to post code snippets as well as tutorials or descriptions of how you solved problems.

If I let the spam bot we had last week carry on we'd have 2000 new users already :Djonathan wrote:1000 new members in the next 3 months.

How about a blogging section?

Hmmm interesting. I've being making a few small pushes to make XMOS more social (still working on getting permission to do Google+ hangouts, I may just do it secretly!) and get some more "insider" news out for XCore, this is a good idea.TonyD wrote:How about a blogging section?

Don't know how much work this is, but... live chat? I know a few years back when I was working on my last project I hung out on IRC a bit (Hi Bianco!)

IRC is still there, #xcore on efnet. Your voice will certainly be heard there...
