I see. 25MHz ADC are cheap nowaday, so yes, it does make sense.
What kind of amplifier are you planning to feed into the ADC - vanilla-favored jelly beans, or programmable?

I didn't took any decision yet. I'll concentrate on the analog part right after having all the logic part (data log, memories and computer interface) working. I should be able to have a working proto right after receiving the parts I ordered. (I'm going to send the PCB this week to the fab).
