Hi,

It would be easier for me to replace the flash memory on the affected board, but I'm finding that the ISSI IS25LQ080B-JNL isn't available from Digi-Key and Mouser etc. What is currently being fitted to Explorer Kit boards please and/or is there a recommended alternative please?

Kind regards,

Al

We'll be releasing a new version of the tools in the coming weeks with a bugfix. Probably best to wait for that. You would still need to use the --spi-div=8 option with 15.3 tools even with a different flash.

The latest 1V3 version of the xcore-200 explorer board uses the ISSI IS25LP080D-JNLE flash.

Faster than I anticipated, a new tools version (15.3.1) with a fix for this has been released:

Hi Joe,

I just installed XTC 15.3.1 and confirm that the issue with programming the original Spansion flash memory is resolved.

Thanks very much for addressing this issue in a very timely manner.

Kind regards,

Al
