Hello
I'm struggling to configure xTimeComposer on windows 7 64bit
Basically when I'm trying to build a project, windows denies in access to software:
xmake CONFIG=Default all
process_begin: CreateProcess(C:\Users\8560w\AppData\Local\Temp\make5988-1.bat, C:\Users\8560w\AppData\Local\Temp\make5988-1.bat, ...) failed.
make (e=5): Access is denied.
The usual solution is to run the application in Administrator mode. However, when I try to do that xTimeComposer gives an error "the xTimeComposer was unable to locate theXMOS toolchain binaries. Please ensure you have setup your envirnment correctly by running SetEnv srcipt in the installation directory prior to starting the xTimeComposer" After that software just doesn't work properly, doesn't connect to the server and etc.
I'm very confused, please help.
Thanks,
Anton

Very confident that I am running at least 2 boxes on Windows 7 (64 bit) and another on Windows 8.1 and stable to date with the latest XMOS 13.2 toolchain.
Are you using the 32 bit Java JRE ? That is required for use on the 32 or 64 bit platforms.

Microsoft Windows
XP SP3 (32-Bit requires 32-bit JRE)
Vista SP2 (32/64-Bit requires 32-bit JRE)
Win7 SP1 (32/64-Bit requires 32-bit JRE)
Win8.1 (32/64-Bit requires 32-bit JRE)
Recommend to attempt another installation (uninstall -> reboot and then attempt an install again) of the latest toolchain (13.2) if the review of the following thread does not work for you:

Also suggest to use the default foldernames, etc. during installation.
