Can I drive Xmos U16 processor with 25 MHz instead of 24 MHz
we are making our own usb slice kit board from standard usb slice kit from xmos. We are designing chain connector which is not available in standard USB slice kit. We want to connect our custom slice kit board to our custom slice kit via chain connector to square connector. There are two crystal clock in slice kit, one is 25 MHz for system clock and another is 24 MHz for xmos processor U16. If I connect two board in master and slave configuration using chain and square slot, the processor of master get clock of 24 MHz and processor of slave get clock of 25 MHz. The clock of both processor is different, So it works ok or not. Also, i want to ask that why two different clocks 24 MHz and 25 MHz are used in standard USB slice kit?except the USB slice kit, analog and general purpose kit is used single 25 MHz clock.

24MHz is required for USB operation. The 25MHz clock is there for compatibility with the existing slices (e.g. ethernet)
