Projects can now link to SourceForge or GitHub

Post by jason »

Just a quick announcement to say that XCore Exchange projects now support linking to 3rd party sites such as SourceForge or GitHub, should you wish to take advantage of more advanced source control/collaboration features that these sites provide. You can do this by editing your project and specifying a URL in the "Sourceforge/GitHub URL" field.

Please note that if you do choose to do this, then your project's download link will point to this new URL, rather than any zip files you may have uploaded previously and downloads will not be tracked by XCore Exchange. If at any point you wish to go back to the XCore Exchange system, simply delete the URL you specified by editing your project again.
