This is related to the XCore Exchange boards:
I found that I am not receiving email notifications of updates to forum topics I create even though I have my account setup to send email notification for comment responses. Does anyone receive email notifications of responses?

Sorry, this is a something we need to fix.
What's happening is because XCore is actually two integrated systems Drupal CMS and phpBB forums. The setting you mentioned is to notify you of people who have commented on your posts on XCore, excluding the forums. ie. comments on your Project posts and Group posts
If you want to subscribe to notifications on forum topics you've created or that you're interested in you'll need to click on the 'Subscribe topic' link below the topic title.
I'll put it on my to-do list to allow people to automatically subscribe to forum topics they've created via their profile page.

The workaround I've employed is fairly painless:
Forum --> View Your Posts
Posts with new replies show up with bright yellow flags.
I do not get an "interrupt" of a notification message in my inbox, so I have the "poll" the forum. However, completely usable.
Thanks for the response and feel free to prioritize it near the bottom.
