How do you insert pictures in a blog here? Can you upload a picture, or do you need to use an external file-server for the pictures ????

Are GIF and JPG the only allowed ones to be shown directly here as your picture ?

Most common web based image formats should be fine. However, if they are larger than the displayable width of the forum, then they will be shown as an attachment, instead of actually displaying the image.
