Hi, I'm Simone from Rome. I'm starting in these days using XMOS devices, and they looks really great!
I'm actually involved in a Active Noise Reduction project related to workspaces, with some particular attention to ambulance sirens and similar alarms. I choosen XMOS devices due their small price (respect DSPs) and their handy form factor (many high-performace DSPs I found have got BGA package, that is not the best in small quantities batch production).
I hope to find a bit of suggestions in this forum, since the "porting" of old Assembly DSP software to XMOS could be a huge workload!! (FIR filters, IIR, Automatic Volume Control, etc...) :D
Hi from Rome!
