Has anyone noticed the hum that happens when xscope is enabled?
It happens when xscope is enabled, and a program is run, even when no xscope data calls are made.
The hum is a low level, high pitched sound that varies a little, like the sound of a disk head moving.
I assumed it was some kind of disk access. However, the mac's activity monitor showed no disk access.
Now that I have switched to ssd, the hum is still there, so not disk related.
Anyone know what the source of the hum is?

The hum happens with every board I've used, which includes Multichannel Audio, DJ Board, StartKit, our custom hardware.
It could be associated with my 2011 Macbook Pro, which is the only pc I've used with Xmos. I don't have easy access to another pc, so I can't compare.
The hum is just loud enough that I need to disable xscope while not in direct use, or it's too distracting.
