Not sure how many feel the same, but I really like the stack overflow 'forum' format. The additional gamification might also be constructive.

Stack Overflow is an excellent platform for Q&A. We've been thinking about something like this for xcore.com for a while now.
What do other people feel about adding a stack overflow like Q&A section to xcore?

We can create a Stack Overflow clone without any additional development and disruption to xcore.com using Stack Exchange http://stackexchange.com
If we get enough 'backers', it will join the network of 104 StackExchange Q&A sites.
On a lark, I've set this up :P

Great!
If XMOS employees (or others) keep on top of it (tags/voting/answering questions etc) it will surely be a valuable resource.
