Hello,
I`m just on the way building my own USB to I2S bridge with the XHRA-2HPA.
Since I want to power different sections of the chip independently, I would like to know the approximate power consumption of the 1V0_VDD supply. The datasheet states an active VDD current of 310-375ma max., but I think that this value includes also the 3V3_VDDIO consumption, as both seem to be bus-powered, from one 5V-USB bus supply. Hope I could go with a somewhat lower output current regulator, when they are separated.
Cheers
Marcel

I checked this and the 1v0 rail takes about 320mA - This isn't fully characterised but some initial measurements show it to be about this level when streaming.
Don't forget this is 1v0 rail fed from a DC-DC which is supplied from 5 volts, so the draw on the 5v rail will be much less in mA (about a fifth, minus DC-DC inefficiencies).
The 3v3 rail needs about 40-60mA from memory, although I haven't tested this recently.
You will need to add the draw from all of the other components, especially the DAC which will be a reasonably significant consumer of power.
