Go back to previous cursor position hotkey

Post by DemoniacMilk »

I am currently trying to examine some code and am jumping to variable and function definitions a lot. Usually, when pressing the backwards mouse button, the cursor is set to where is has been before jumping, what is quite handy when jumping around in large files.

Unfortunately my mouse does not have this button. I checked the preferences but could not find the hotkey. How is it called?

Hi DemoniacMilk,

I found the keyboard shortcuts in xTIMEcomposer by going Help -> Key Assist, which showed me on my Mac that moving back to where I was is done by CMD+ALT+Left.

Regards,

Peter
