Passing voice of only specific person using Xcore Mic array

Hello,

We are working on a Telepresence application where mic data comes from xmos mic array and using external audio amplifier connected to audio jack output of this kit. When we are increasing gain value to some 10, we are able to achieve long distance but getting some reverb and other noises. We want to filter out other noises, and want provision where we can mute other persons voice.
Is there any application note or any source if somebody already did this. I am trying to use xcore dsp library but initial direction is needed.

Hello, I would recommend: Sound Capture and Processing: Practical Approaches by Ivan Tashev. It's a really good book and details all the steps needed for really good directionality and audio quality. Hope that helps.
