The PCB will connect to an XK-1 via a header and ribbon cable. It comprises the header, 5V regulator, 2x serial driver chips, 5x power transistors (one for each plane), and pads for connecting the LEDs.
I'll make the design files available to anyone who wants to build one. My initial prototype will be a single-sided PCB made at home.
