I'm starting out in this field.
I purchased an old meridian (561M) and I want to create an interface with my PC.

I would like to transmit digital information from a PC.
I wish to do a Dirac LIVE calibration, and if possible multi-channel information.

The question is which XMOS product best fits the task?
A friend of mine recommended this product to me:
"XMOS XU208 Asynchronous USB digital converter DSD Upgrade SITIME Crystal"

Do you think this is relevant?

Maybe this could be more appropriate:
"XMOS xCORE multicore microcontrollers"

I'm not quite clear what level of product you are looking for.

- An XMOS chip suitable for designing your own USB->SPDIF coverter
- A module to provie USB->SPDIF using XMOS chips

Which one?

Plug and play is the best for me..

Sorry, I'm not really able to advise on modules - we (Xmos) do chips/tools/software. It's our customers who make the modules. Maybe someone else on here is in a position to advise better.

Yeah, that doesn't look like an XMOS product. That looks like someone in China who used an XMOS processor and XMOS software and built the interface card. It's unfortunate they don't seem to have even put their name on it so you could ask them about it.
