Give it a try. 14.x and 13.x all have this problem.

Hi everyone, Sorry it took so long to get to the bottom of this, but I think I have found the cause of problem and I've fixed the website.
Turns out the website was determining that the tools was a bot and terminating the response.
This issue should be resolved now.
Just also one more thing to note. All the libraries and examples and documentation that's available through the tools is also available through the website.
The libraries are here
https://www.xmos.com/developer/software/libraries
and the tools examples and how-to guides are here
https://www.xmos.com/developer/documents/tools

Hi, now it works partially, but still not fully. There is more content, I can update my account, view the forum, but "connection to www.xmos.com failed" is still there and the examples still can not be downloaded.

Could you perhaps try clearing the cache within the tools by going touth wrote:Hi, now it works partially, but still not fully. There is more content, I can update my account, view the forum, but "connection to http://www.xmos.com failed" is still there and the examples still can not be downloaded.
Window -> Preferences -> xTIMEcomposer and then click the Clear cached data button.

Hi, I cleared completely the directories XMOS and .xmos, reinstalled, then tried clear cache, then tried no certificate. As I said, there is a difference, but the crucial parts still do not work.

Anyway, you can import these libraries and examples as they were a project.bear118 wrote:but "connection to http://www.xmos.com failed" is still there and the examples still can not be downloaded.migueljds wrote:Hi everyone, Sorry it took so long to get to the bottom of this, but I think I have found the cause of problem and I've fixed the website.

I don't know if their behavior will be the same if it is downloaded via libraries module. Some examples work for me and another no. Because I don't know if these fails are made by me or for the fact that they are not library downloaded, I don't spend much time here
In this time working with xtime I take in that the examples work more like learning the purpose. So, you can read it on the user guides. Besides the code that you will found it is also in the programming guide document and is very fragmented.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Cannot download the library through the xTIMEcomposer, just like there's a chicken leg missing from a hamburger.dahoma wrote:Anyway, you can import these libraries and examples as they were a project.bear118 wrote:but "connection to http://www.xmos.com failed" is still there and the examples still can not be downloaded.migueljds wrote:Hi everyone, Sorry it took so long to get to the bottom of this, but I think I have found the cause of problem and I've fixed the website.

The examples and libraries downloaded from the website are exactly the same as the ones when you download from the website and import them into the xTIMEcomposer.
I'm a bit stumped as to why this is happening.
For those of you that this issue is happening, if try to open the Welcome screen (from the menu: Help -> Welcome) I suspect you will be getting a blank screen, which suggests the website is cutting the connection, not the tools or the network.
Perhaps, we could try some tests out to try to locate the issue. If one of you with this issue could try to access the Welcome page and let me know the date/time that you did it. I will check the logs to see what's happened.
