Hi,
I have a DIYINHK board with a XS2-UnA-512-FB236 on it.
I know that 3 i2s lines (6 channels) work at 384k sampling frequency.
I tried to modify the 8 channel example software for 6 i2s lines (12 channels) at max. 192k.
If I try to run this configuration i get an error in linux and the USB driver crashes.
What's the problem here? Is this too much bandwidth for the USB bus? why is this so, when 6 channels at 384 work fine? I thought that 12 channels at 192k would use the same bandwidth?

Update, for due diligence I just tried to run the board with 3 i2s lines / 6 channels at 384k - same USB errors. Is DIYINHK lying here and this cannot work?

1) It will be a good idea to ask DIYINHK about the permutations of software supported by this kit. Do update this thread with the status.
2) in the meantime, run the XMOS USB HID mouse IP to confirm the kit and your setup are stable to support USB 2.0 high speed communication. Post your updates.
In general, it should be possible to support your requests with the XMOS hardware.
