just received the XV-EVK-XU316 development board and this is my first time working with XMOS. My supervisor has asked me to get the Line In and Line Out working, and there’s a future project involving 16-channel output. As someone who’s only worked with ARM Cortex before, feeling a bit nervous about this new challenge, but I hope the process goes smoothly.
Anyway, nice to meet you all

Welcome!
Our USB Audio reference design is a good place to start: https://www.xmos.com/develop/usb-multichannel-audio/
That page refers to the XK-AUDIO-316-MC-AB board, but the software download package contains source and pre-built binaries for your XK-EVK-XU316 as well: look in the sw_usb_audio/app_usb_aud_xk_evk_xu316 directory.
