Will there be a quad core in the L Series?
If so, when is it expected to be released?
Is there any preliminary data available?

Don't count on it; For a quad-core L one has to hook up four switches.
If you require 4 cores, go for a G4 or hook up two L2's.

My understanding is that there is a new XS2 series being designed and is probably 12+ months out.

Does anyone have any details (or speculation and rumours will do :D ) on what features the XS2 will have?smuraski wrote:My understanding is that there is a new XS2 series being designed and is probably 12+ months out.
I'm hoping for more memory per core and a flash based boot sector instead of the 8K OTP.
