XC-2 Wall Wart?

Post by yzoer »

So it looks I lumped my XC-2 wall-wart together with all the others I dumped at GoodWill. Although I could drag my bench powersupply up and wire something up myself, it'd be nicer to have something I can just plug in. Anyone know where I can get one in the US, what the power requirements are (1A IIRC) and the size of the plug?

Cheers!

5V 1.2A. The board has a 1.1A fuse. The plug looks like a hollow
3.5mm barrel; center positive.

Looks like it's smaller than 3.5mm to me though... Hmm... Anyone else? :-)

The output jack in the catalog looks like it's too big ( 5.5mm ) so I'm leaning towards 1.35mm x 3.5mm jack, which seems to be the right size...

$3.79 on eBay, free shipping :-)

Yup. Outside of barrel according to digital calipers, 3.12mm.

Probably a 1.3 mm connector:

The OD is 3.5 mm, though.

I think there is a lot of clearance on the outside of the barrel. The main fit is on the pin.
