Hi I am exploring the possibilities of Xcore vs STM32F4xx.
The STM has FPU which dramatically improves float performance.
I am not seeing mention of FPU on Xcore so assuming there is none.
If it takes 8 times longer to do float calculations using standard C
functions than STM FPU is there going to be any performance benefit
using 8 cores?
The lack of ADC channels ( max 8 on analogue parts)and small memory on XMOS devices
makes projects more complicated so just trying to find out if the benefits outweigh
The hassles.
