I am curious if anybody used the XMOS MCA or MFA kit with USB Audio 1.0 ? By default, these kits come with USB Audio 2.0 firmware.
The XMOS kits use an external oscillator that generates the MCLK for both the DAC/ADC and the XMOS controller thus implementing the asynchronous audio transfer mode.
I am mainly concerned , if it is still possible to use the asynchronous audio transfer if USB Audio 1.0 firmware is used on XMOS device?

- Yes! Just choose the 1xxxx build instead of 2xxxx build. It runs at FS and UAC 1.0

- Yes! The MFA hardware only supports asynch mode anyhow (external fixed osc - no PLL) but this is fine on UAC 1.0.
