For a cost reduction, considering to use the XLF series but only the datasheets of the XUF / XEF are posted at this time on the XMOS website. To replace the XUF with a XLF device, how should the missing USB function pins be strapped for proper operation ? On this design, there is no interest to use the USB nor Ethernet PHY. Respectively, welcome a review of the XLF datasheet (FB236 BGA package). If in a pinch on inventory, we wish to be able to switch between the use of either the XEF, XUF or XLF series with a common footprint (and external respective strappings) during production.

Datasheets for the general purpose family of XL and XLF chips are now available on xmos.com.

They are not pin compatible with XU and XE chips.
