USB Audio Android OTG / Charge

Hi,

I use a USB slice kit with an audio slice for a project. I use a small OTG adapter to play multichannel audio from a phone or a tablet running Android 5. Everything works nicely except that I can't figure out how to charge the phone/tablet while streaming USB audio. I tried several cables including Y cables supposed to allow for charging.

Is there a way to achieve this ? Any ideas ?

Thats not a mode of operation on that board, you'd have to modify it or use a cable something like this maybe:

Charging from a USB device would require OTG role swap or SRP.
