Hi there,
I'm using the xCORE 200 Multichannel board (which is amazingly awesome!). My question is this: does AVB put any special requirements on the ethernet PHY? We have concerns that obtaining the current might be difficult (it's a Qualcomm part), so we'd prefer to design with a part that's more accessible for our custom board.
What other known working PHYs are there?
Thanks,
-Caleb

It is supposed to work with any RGMII PHY.
You could for example try the Micrel one <http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/D ... 031RNX.pdf>

Great, thanks. After a bit of inspection, that's what I suspected, but definitely good to get some confirmation.henk wrote:It is supposed to work with any RGMII PHY.
