On two occasions I have been asked, 'Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?' I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.

While there is some measure of humor in having hundreds if not thousands of mips cintrolling a dial with five choices while somone watches helplessly..maybe it could do something like measure voice stress and shout "LIAR!!" or "Bollux!" or speak Welsh at the helpless subject of your ire. Maybe even have some RGB LEDs in the plate, where they'd be almost invisible and have it switch from a green smile slowly to a red smile then to a frown. You could hook it to the email system and have it randomly read someones email aloud in a computer voice once an hour...
