Probably a dumb question but, for the XP-USB-VSM-2000 XCore Voice Smart Mic board, does anyone know how the pins on the "Expansion" GPIO 16-pin expansion header J5 are physically numbered? If I wanted to find (for example) Pin 7, how would I know which it is? Not seeing any clue in the doc or on the board itself.

Yes - not 100% clear I agree. The clump of 4 ground pins sit closest to the Xmos device itself. That is pin 2 is closest to the xmos device and pin 15 is furthest away.
To be 100% sure, I normally do a quick continuity test with the board powered off..
