I'm planning to build a a USB audio and MIDI device. Can this board be configured as an audio and MIDI device (emphasis on the device)? Additionally, is there a USB host option as well?
Thank you for your replies in advance.
Is this the right board for me?

Read the datasheet and found the relevant part (Chapter 11 - USB PHY):
The USB PHY provides High-Speed and Full-Speed, device, host, and on-the-go function-
ality. The PHY is configured through a set of peripheral registers (Appendix D.22-D.24),
and data is communicated through ports on the digital node.

Better off with mc audio board as that already has MIDI in/out connectors.

USB host is supported by the device but we have very little to no software support for this outside of some fairly old experimental projects.
