RGMII on XE232

Post by lukehatpadl »

I just wanted to confirm that it's safe to ignore the following warnings when building for lib_ethernet on the XE232-1024-FB374 using the default RGMII_PORTS_INITIALIZER, and to use the portmap that's in the data sheet on the board.

Code: Select all

xmap: Warning: port "XS1_PORT_1B" on tile[1] is not connected to any pins in this package.
xmap: Warning: port "XS1_PORT_1A" on tile[1] is not connected to any pins in this package.
Constraint check for tile[1]:
  Cores available: 8, used: 1 . OKAY
  Timers available: 10, used: 1 . OKAY
  Chanends available: 32, used: 0 . OKAY
  Memory available: 262144, used: 2300 . OKAY
    (Stack: 348, Code: 1584, Data: 368)

Hey, this looks like a tools issue. I will raise this and get an answer. I expect the warning can be ignored as you have found many people have used lib_ethernet before (not me). Its unlikely that there will be a fix any time soon though.
